The Art of Dining, famous for their unique pop-up events, hosted The Candelit Supper, a fundraising dinner over two evenings. Working with The Mill Co. Project, set designer Alice Hodge and chef Ellen Parr, the creative duo behind The Art of Dining, held the event at the Rose Lipman Building in North London.

Guests enjoyed a spicy warm cocktail on arrival, a ‘char your own’ chilli and a delicious four-course menu, in a beautiful candle lit venue celebrating Middle Eastern cuisine. As part of the evening the owners of The Art of Dining talked passionately about why they were supporting the cause to the guests and showed images taken of the work Action Against Hunger is doing in the area. Reflecting on the evening, Alice Hodge said:

“We were inspired to organise The Candlelit Supper because of how Action Against Hunger are helping the Syrian Refugee Crisis. They are helping 3.5 million people affected by the crisis, and not just in Syria alone, but in bordering countries of Lebanon, Jordan, Iraqi Kurdistan, Turkey and Egypt. It’s hard for us to imagine how to help the millions of people who have lost everything.

But that’s why we have joined forces with Action Against Hunger, to raise vital funds for the work they are carrying out.”

Thank you so much to The Art of Dining for hosting a fantastic event, and to everyone who donated their time and resources to making it a success. The two evenings raised £3930, to help fund our life-saving programmes.
